***** ******* Dorking, any good?
8 February, 2010, 21:59
Are there any regular players from Elite Dorking on here? Thinking of heading up in March with some people for me birthday, we're all ****** ***** regulars and haven't been to another site so just wanted to see what people thought of it..
Cheers in advance

EAG Worthing is amazing, and the buildings look amazing at Dorking. :D
So I'd imagine will be a great day, can't wait to get there myself!
Sure some site regs will fill you in though!

Re: ***** ******* Dorking, any good?
I live 4 mins from the Worthing site but never been there in 2 years of airsofting! I knew someone that went down a few years back and a couple of blokes turned up in a Land Rover, took peoples money and left everyone to it.. I'm sure it's not like that now, just want to be sure as its a whole day out and I can only usually go once a month or sometimes longer due to other commitments..
But as you say Dorking looks good form the pics :-)

Really?!
Worthing is really well run, and has a whole load of regulars. Massive site, and for £15 inc lunch.... bargain!
I'd go more often, but it's roughly 2hours each way. Still make the journey once in a while, love it!

Re: ***** ******* Dorking, any good?
I play at dorking regularly and as far as sites go its pretty vast as the owners just keep on extending to the original sight, there is a myriad of buildings and fortifications which make great mid range skirmishing. Its had alot of different milsim games played at it (WW2, Nam etc..) and honestly its just great if you need any specifics PM me for details fella (:

Re: ***** ******* Dorking, any good?
It's the best site I've ever been to. Everything is run REALLY well. The buildings are great, the site is a great size. They take non-hit takers very seriously which I really enjoy as a sniper. They just try to make the whole day as enjoyable as possible for every player...
Can't imagine there are many sites that are better. Give it a go at least!
Hope you like it,
Alex

Re: ***** ******* Dorking, any good?
They only seem run attack and defend type games and players don't wear tags. Sounds boring and confusing? Trust me, it's neither. The games are very fast paced and you're ALWAYS in the thick of the action. Not having tags isn't an issue either with the way the games are run. You'll definitely need plenty of ammo though, I burnt through 11 mids and 2 pistol mags and the first game hadn't even finished.

Re: ***** ******* Dorking, any good?
I've been to their underground Epsom site plenty of times. I've heard lots of good things about the Dorking site.
Like others have said they are very strict on non-hit takers and will ban people who have not taken their hits 3 times in a row - so generally you'll get decent people for a fairer game in EAG run games.
Must go to Worthing some day too from all the good things said about it above :-)
