Aug Gas Block Plug Replacement
28 April, 2013, 15:16
Does anybody have any idea where to get one of these, or a look-a-like substitute?
I would rather not pay RS prices for one and can't think of anything I could use instead... maybe a screw or something but I can't think of one that looks remotely similar.

I might be able to help. I made one once. I might even have it knocking around.

If you have something knocking around I would be more than happy to take it off your hands. If you can find it a pic would be ace. Alternatively if you can't find it a quick desc on how you made it would be good.

Re: Aug Gas Block Plug Replacement
I took a mould from my old Aug gas block, Then stuck it on a stick. It's not quite as long but it was designed to fit when i put a stubby barrel on it.
Might need some more tape on the shaft to get it to fit but if you want it you are welcome to it.

Looks better on the gun than it does in close up in a photo.
