Gun Holster Problems

hey i have just baught a hi-cappa dragon 7 with a patato masher on the front. although this creates problems of its own, even with my glock17 and colt; when i use a leg holster or hip holster the mag release catch is pressed and my mag comes out. is there a good holster i can get to prevent this, that isnt shape restriced??? help please.

Cut out some plastic and glue it around the mag catch to build the area up a bit. There was a guide on Arnies how to do it. Or you could just file the mag catch down so there is only just enough sticking out.

I found getting solid retention holster greatly reduces this, After losing a mag I starter using gun specific retention hip holsters and haven't lost a mag since, however you won't find one for the hi-cappa, you could get a custom kydex one made. Or there are some "generic" holsters that can be adjusted to various sizes to fit a varienty of weapons. I don't know if these could be adjusted to fit your hi-cappa though...
