Seriously, sometimes its funny guys but if all you have to contribute is douchebaggery why not skip posting on this thread and just ignore it?

Undamagedvirus - as much as i admire your enthusiasm for airsoft (and your delayed debut is a sentiment I feel sympathetic to, having broken my arm a week ago), this thread is rather pointless.

This sort of discussion is probably better suited to facebook amongst your mates

Ah so we've established it's about playing tomorrow (overdraft issues? as in you've blown your wad early?), in that case no, no I'm not: I'm working my crappy weekend job so that I can afford to drive my fuel-guzzling car to uni for the next month...
                I hate my job...

Can't decide if I'm going to partake of War-dogs at RAF Honiley tomorrow or not......my usual two man hit squad is down to one guy (me)....so it might be a bit on the dry side......

not this week (other than in the garden to keep the gears moving n tinkering with other projects, though going stormforce in near litchfield on the 11t. praying to the airsoft gods for lovely hot and sunny weather, to give the glocks a good working out as a primary in woodland ^^ (and to see if the A+ is any different to the stock pt. 14 hop on stock barrels) though if its cold i got a few freshly tinkered/serviced toy to break in ^^

might pop over to the gun shop nearby to restock on some heavy bbs and probably to faff about with some of their gbb smgs on their range ^^ will probably try and find somewhere nearby instock with that mystical "froglube" stuff and give it a go.

one of these days ill go to that RAF Honiley, i've been threatening to go for years XD just never got there at a time for a new player not to be disadvantaged too much (from what i read of the games there)

also should i run this sig 552 with or without silencer??

and look i made this topic less pointless! not hard was it?

Tis true, RAF Honiley is a twat for new / visiting players, especially if your first visit is on one of the themed days, as there's just no chance to get to grips with the layout. On a typical game day it might not be as bad as Gunman normally run warm up games that familiarise the new player with the site.

I may burn for this, but the best part about RAF Honiley (IMHO) are the people, staff, and the inventive games...the site itself, for me, is a bit meh. It's relatively small, not counting the woodland aspect, and what there is for the 'urban' aspect is quite overgrown with weeds, etc.

Ironically, for CQB, I think the Grange is a much better site (literally five minutes drive from Honiley) it's woodland-esque but everything about the site, IMHO, is top notch, with two built up zones which provide a much more balanced, yet intense, CQB experience than RAF Honilet. And the facilities, layout, etc at the Grange really do set the standard for what airsoft should be.

Apart from that bit where their tech staff charge you for the high end components you requested and put cheap trash on your gun instead.

Meddy - the a+ rubber was a pile of excrement in my glock

I've never used the Gunmonkey service they offer, I would generally try to fix stuff myself. I got bitten too many times with monutainbike 'servicing' to trust 'specialists' anymore. One of the reasons I love GBBR's. On the other hand, wrt TW there are people I would send my guns to, but they tend to be quite well known, the service is a key aspect of their operations, so maintaining a good rep is in their interests, and they guarantee their work.
