Using butane in GBBs!
18 February, 2010, 11:48
Hi lads and lasses, is it possible to use butane as gas for GBBs? - Butane is very similar to propane, but I don't know if its possible or safe to use it in GBBs, does anyone have experience with butane in GBBs before? or Perhaps NBBs?
Thanks in advance! :D

Re: Using butane in GBBs!
I think butane has a lower pressure so would not be as good as propane and also would suffer more in the cold.

Crap? - I thought it'd be rubbish in cold weather, not warm though.

Actually, looking at the tank... It might actually be propane, but that's debatable, I have yet to find out.

Butanes garbage. You can buy small cans from BnQ! I tried it out of curiosity and was a waste of time
What colours the bottle. Blue for Butane, Red for Propane!!

As above but it should say clearly on the canister Propane or Butane
Dont forgot to lube the gun every once in awhile when using it tho.
Just because I don't post often doesn't mean I am not playing Airsoft
