getting bits from Thailand...

Hello,

im due to go out to Thailand V soon for holiday!!

Just a thought, am I likely to be able to get some bits n pieces out there cheap??

There is not much that I need to get, just need:

Some gloves
A Mask (have gogges already)
Some Combats/army shirt

Will I be able to get them out there?

Ill be in Bangkok for a few days.. so thats where I would get it..

How will I know the mask etc will take a bb?!

anyone else been on hols/got some?

With regards to the combats and shirt, you can get them dirt cheap over here from a surplus store, same goes with the gloves really.

The cheapest I ihave seen is £22 once postage has been paid for shirt, comabs and a jacket...

but the gloves where not all that

There's lots of things you can pick up in Thailand dirt cheap (:eek, but I seriously doubt that airsoft kit is one of them.

Any places you're likely to be understood/welcome are catering to tourists, so the price advantage you may find there, with clothing, is reduced.

i got some DPM trousers for a 5ver on a uk online shop, and a jacket for a 10er. Some surplus website, cant remember name. Meaning you dont have to go to tailand to get them, when you can get em cheap already over here!

Thailand does have lots of places to get airsoft gear. I got some myself pretty cheap. Some of the market sellers try to rip you off, so you need to be good at bartering. I was very close to getting a full Multicam kit for a very handsome price, but decided against it. I deeply regret that decision..

Anyway, using the MRT train system, go to Chatughak park MRT station. A few hundred yards down the road is Chatuchak market, one of the biggest open markets in the world. It is almost like a village, seriously, it will blow your mind.
There is an entire section devoted to airsoft stuff. Not sure exactly where, but if you walk down the central 'street' of the market, you'll definately see the stuff.

you can get everything mate, all at varying qualities and prices - including the women.

phuket should be nice, never been. but pattaya was good too.

enjoy yourself, but be careful. it can be a dangerous place. i went with my gf, so i didn't try what most people go to thailand for. in any case. try not to catch too many transmitted diseases.
