Would love to be a Grenadier, I'd do it if I could affored enough 40mm's for a couple of bandoliers.

me i would be the sniper in the team my gear.
PSG-1 sniper
P90 as back up
tac vest which holds p90 mags
dump pouch for smokes, grenades and ammo (for need to get out of tight spot)
and of course radio to comminucate with other team members

my part could be all of them apart from grenadier.

i have a assault rifle (rifleman), and i have used both of my main guns for snipering (marksman) and my p90 has a box mag (support gunner)

For me its all about heavy fire power. Who needs accuracy when you have more than enough ammo to keep the enemy surpressed.
For me on the weapons front it has to be:
Classic M60A1
several boxes of ammo
Mac 10 smg
Colt M1911
M72 law
Frag grenades

Grenadier for me!

I would use

Either an M500 Shotgun or a Maruzen M1100 Shorty

Lots and lots of frag grenades

Electrodet charges to blow stuff up

More grenades

fiiine ill go with designated marksman, im still trying to figure out how the British go about the designated marksman, ive seen such a weird mixture in the footage ive seen, some with their l96's some with LSW's oh well *click*

Im pretty sure the LSW is the designated marksmans gun,to use the L96 you have to be a qualified sniper (i think). Id go for the bog standard rifleman .

marksman is best for airsoft in my opinion. longer ranges. and the satisfaction of doing a double tap and taking them out. lovely!

LSW any person who can shoot a rifle can use. Its not a marksman rifle, its just for better enemy suppression. Back in days of old, before the LMG and UGL, the LSW was for helping get the enemys head down. Hence why its just a modded SA80. Longer barrel is better range, but only effective to 600m. When i was a young sprog out of training, in my first unit, i had an LSW as my personal weapon, and i couldnt hit a barn door with a shovel.
Its a different story now though!

Anyway, Grenadier. Nothing like charging an enemy MG post and posting a grenade through their trench slit, before screaming in, bayonet fitted, and on full auto.

By the definition of the poll, the LSW would count as a marksmans weapon tho wouldnt it?

hoggy - am i right in thinking that the lsw is more accurate on single fire? - no one at the otc can give me a decent answer.

in airsoft however the nice long barrel could make it a fairly decent marksman rifle.
