  • Best Taiwanese Brand

Me and my friend were shouting at eachother today. He has an SRC G36c, I have the G&G GR-16.

Which Taiwanese brand is better, and is there any better ones than these two?

I do believe G&G are underrated and SRC are overrated. Thats my argument :D

        Are ICS not Taiwanese...?

I would put them just above G&G and above SRC.

But I'm not one of those who thinks they are the absolute best in the world..

I was thinking ICS are Taiwanese too, but couldn't find their website to confirm it.

SRC really do seem to have upped their game in the last year or so. They've brought out models that the other manufacturers haven't (T-91 and ready to roll MG36 for example) and they are getting a good rep for reliability (a repair tech at the wolf shop in London told me that SRC is the one brand they've never had returned for repairs).

Still, you can't just assume they will continue this way. ICS have built their reputation up over years and it will take more than a few new models (regardless of how good they are now) to persuade me that they've cracked it in the long run.

Still might get that T-91 though!

I tried so many different spellings, but just couldn't find one that got close enough for google to recognise what I wanted.

                    Type ICS BB

                    http://www.icsbb.com/

                    They're 100% Taiwanese. No question.

ICS have a good rep but not as cheap as SRC that doesn't mean SRC ARE cheap guns though. G&G again good but expensive. Are we talking specifically these 2 companies and only rifle or any Airsoft company from Taiwan. because then you have WE and KSC in the pistol department.

                              Okay, a tough one....

                              I own two G&G guns, my G&G AK74 and G&G LR-300S.

I also own an ICS M4A1.

Want to know something? None of them have ever let me down once, no lock ups, or whatever, and I must've fired a fair share of rounds through them each. In terms of build quality - G&G has it, even though the stock (well body piece) on my AK snapped off.

Can't fault either. (Not when compared to the likes of say, my A&K Masada).
