  • War & Peace Revival

    Hi,
Has anybody been to the 'new' site yet? I'm going tomorrow and would be interested in hearing anyone's opinion.
I asked aout concessions for servicemen/women, and was told that they could get the child ticket (for £16.50) £2 off the full price on providing i.d. Not much of a discount!
    Retgards, Alistair.

    Re: War & Peace Revival

Went yesterday and it was bloomin hot. Got there about 9.15 parking near the front and had a 20+ min queue for the 4 booth ticketing portacabin. After about 15m a guy walked the queue to let veterans and pre booked ticket holders know that they could go to the front.... Seems like there are more stalls than last year and its a fair trek to get around the place. I didn't think the signage inside or out was up to much but a program would probably help out with that. Food and drink is spread out between the permanent buildings and the usual wagons but once again I didn't spot a single sign pointing to the areas - we made a guess that they would be near the arena and at the end of a trade stands area! All of the usual stands I recall were there but it seemed like there were fewer airsoft retailers this year.

Assuming they add no more ticket booths id highly recommend going online if that's still an option as the weekend would be a nightmare!
