Re: BFG tomfoolery
so out of the OSB and the Dynatec which do you prefer?
- - - Updated - - -
comparing the two, i would say the dynatec version is a lot quicker to reload than the OSB, you just undo the cap remove the spent blank, insert a new blank and rescrew it.....

Re: BFG tomfoolery
The dynatex is easier to reload than the OSB.
BUT! The OSB is a lot more sensitive and is more reliable than the dynatex.
As for the V.T.G, Iv only had a go at loading it 2 times when I got it home and it took me about 30-35 seconds each time.

Re: BFG tomfoolery
out of my swat impact and my dynatec impact the swat is slightly more sensitive,i managed to trigger it off from a 1 foot drop, anyway to keep up their reliability, all you need to do is maintain it with regular cleaning out of the carbon, and a little squirt of silicon spray down the hole of the firing pin

Re: BFG tomfoolery
Also whichever you do buy its worth the extra few £ to get shotgun primer adapter. Bangs are virtually the same volume and like a quarter the price. (and 9mm are already cheap compared to cardboard)
If you get the OSB you can decide to ONLY get the primer adapter for £65. So the biggest saving is there.

Re: BFG tomfoolery
the osb works on soft ground .Personaly I'd go timed ,I've got some pretty long range kills by skimming my dyno along the floor which you can't do with an impact. One advantage I see with impacts is for use as traps.

Re: BFG tomfoolery
I purchased mine from here:
Blankety Blank
You just need to make sure you select: 9mm blanks, nitro powder, 50 blank
Its more of a bigger bang, than flash and smoke (like black powder)

They do indeed, the only slight issue is when they go off they splay out over the adaptor - easily discarded if you have a set of mini wire cutters with you. Takes about 30-40secs to reload.
