It's a long way from 'cheap' but it is by far the most professional-looking version. As far as I know the Maruzen M870s shoot 1-5rds per shell, which is pretty good for an airsoft shotgun.

[EDIT]Sorry - I've got it wrong. The shells hold 1-5rds each, but each rack of the weapon shoots only one round. Like psirus101, I can't see the point of a single-shot weapon under an AEG. I'd wait for the Marui M870 and see how/if that can be adapted.[/EDIT]

I think that kit is just for the CA870 springers, use a 22 or 40 round magazine and they're single shot. Maruzen do make a shell ejecting 870, but I don't think that kit works with it. Still, shell ejecting wouldn't be practical, and 1 BB per shot is pretty useless. As you say a you could always adapt a TM, maybe rig a gas line up to a gas tank inside an empty magzine shell on the side on the gun with a ready mag system.
