    the main problem your going to encounter is if you file off the tiniest bit too much from the sears and your gonna be dumping all the mag in one triggrpull i.e runaway gun, which is not overly pleasant when it fails on the chrono range, had it happen on a m9 wasnt overly pleasant

      I think that the Stark Arms G17 is a clone of the TM G17 so I'm going to try out what RedHawk has done initially. And I'll try to avoid filing anything down unless I have to.

        Yep, it can be done with an after-market slide.

        I actually queried them on this a while ago as I really wanted an extended slide for my G18c. They said it fits as advertised, but doesn't allow the use of switching between semi and full auto, and is actually meant as a conversion kit for the G17.

        Not that I'd recommend it; it's a lot of money for something that'll force you into using auto all the time. Nice slide though *shrugs*
