WE HK416 or Umarex HK416, Help!

Hi,
I have just bought a Umarex Vfc HK416 and my friend has just told me that i should have got a WE HK416
Because of the mags are more accessible and the internals are more upgradeable. I am now wondering
if what i should do, or if i should swap it out for a WE?

Owning a Umarex 416, i'd say you've made the right decision. Mine runs an 11.1 lipo straight out of the box, the externals are fantastic (Including licensed trades!), and the gun feels extremely solid. I can't really speak for the quality of the WE as i've never had the chance to use one, but knowing some of their track record, I think your decision was a good one!

What made you buy the UMAREX one in the first place?

The cost?
The trade marks?
It was the only one they sold at your chosen retailer?

I have turned into a WE fanboy for the reasons your buddy has said...

Easily upgrade able
Plenty of parts about

I do not know the comparisons in coatings, but in my opinion the spare parts for WE are very reasonably priced and now they have their fully stocked European wing based in the UK you should have no issues getting bits for them.



The bottom line is simple - if you are happy with it, then mine and every other opinion out there doesn't count for toffee.

Are you referring to the GBBR Umarex? Or the AEG?

If you are referring to the GBBR, then I would say yes, switch it for a WE.

If you own the AEG, then ask yourself. What matters more to you, realism, or reliability?

the vfc gbb 416 can use wa,g&P mags and parts/upgrades, mine runs like a dream, alot better than my we one
