Hi all I aquired a cyma mp5k pdw in a trade but the stock has snapped, my question is would a solid stock look stupid on it or am I better off replacing the pdw stock.

A standard size MP5 stock will not fit.

The receiver is of a different design, it's the same with all MP5ks. MP5k stocks attach inside the receiver with 2 pins, whilst an MP5 stock slides over the receiver and attaches with one pin.

So I take it that would be the same with the sliding stock as well. Will just have to put a pdw sock back on it then.

Take the stock off and get the 5k blanking plate.

Or bolt on a stock tube from an m4 to a sling plate rear

My CYMA MP5K died before I even got it to it's first skirmish. Mega fail.

Nope, drilled a couple of locating pins through from the inside.

Will give it ago I have a stock tube laying round some were. Did you extended the inner barrel though the silencer but I dont really want to make it to long for cqb just want some thing I can shoulder and get a nice check hold on.

Yeah it's running a 300mm tightbore I had kicking about. Brings total length to 710mm with stock closed 780 extended.
Find it perfect size for close quarters stuff. A 200mm barrel and 100mm silencer would make things a bit more compact.
