about to purchase this and wish to put a scope on it what would I need to buy to mount the scope, like specific mounts scope rings ect

In all honesty, wouldn't bother.

The description given (from another shop's site.... Tut, tut....) clearly states there is nowhere to fit one.

That means you need to buy the bits required and "modify" (bodge) the gun in order to do it. I am no airsoft snob, but in all honesty I think you would be better off taking the money from that gun and adding to the money you will spend modifying it and simply buy one that is fit for purpose. I doubt very much that the one you have linked will be overly great and with a little more cash (the money you will spend modding it PROPERLY to take a scope) you will be able to buy a better rifle that has the ability to take a scope!

Check out the Snow Wolf bolt action range, they even come with scope mounts and can be bought for the same amount!
