Quickie about length
6 September, 2013, 11:04
My starter rifle i'm looking at is the G&G CM16 Raider Long, some good reviews for a starter. Just wondered if the barrel can be shortened down with a replacement just like the CM16 Raider.
Another Rifle I have been offered for a reasonable price is an SRCM4 full metal. Any good? been told it's not the best for keep working.
Cheers

Re: Quickie about length
Why not just buy the shorter version to start with?

Its about 2-3" different, and will make 0 difference to your play. Plus the long one looks better.
--EDIT--
suppose i should answer the question though, yes it can be swapped.

Re: Quickie about length
Don't listen to what she says, length does matter.....
Jokes aside the G&G is a fantastic starter gun!
And STAY AWAY FROM SRC!!

For airsoft a few inches won't change anything at all mate, just go for what you think looks better.

Re: Quickie about length
You'll be suprised, at how little difference it makes tho', also you can use the shorter one for open play just as effectively, it's only really cosmetic, after all, they are only, (expensive) toys Paul, and we are only "playing" soldiers, just buy what you like best and have fun........ha ha, forgot to answer the question, yes SRC are not bad at all.
"This is my rifle, it's just a toy one, there are many like it, they're toy ones too, without it, i'm £250 better off, without me, it gathers dust in the corner, we're just big boys playing soldiers, lets try and remember that" play fair have fun.
