Cleaning Your Guns

Hi chaps
Just giving my AKM 13 a quick booji, and wondering whats your routine for cleaning your AEGs and GBBs?
Have you got any secrets, tips and tricks?
I like to use 45x45 rag dry, on the end of a rod for my barrel, and duster gas to get out all the nasty bits from the body.
What do you do?

Clean barrel using a touch of silicone spray and a fluff less cloth, then use a cigarette filter to do final clean on barrel ( type used for roll ups ) frog lube to any moving or sliding parts ( or any prone to rusting ) then autoglym bumper and plastic cleaner / restorer for any plastic externals . Use an old toothbrush for hard to reach crevices .

Or you could dig out the karcher jet washer for a proper clean up !! ( works well for removing two tone paint from body's ..! Lol

That sounds like a good thorough routine! Thankfully my guns never get that bad. I spray sillicone over the contact services, like the change lever. I also give the wood a little bit of treatment, but that's not necessary for some guns
