To be different, I like it when people mix things up, it's one of the reasons I stay away from buying more M4's and get more unseen rifles

Think he is keeping the front end short and using it as more of an assault rifle

Doesn't look terrible... But with the ready availability of workable M60s these days, seems to be a solution in search of a problem, no?

Also: P90 hicap is the worst airsoft AEG mag design so far.

It was the best fit for the side of the gun, a P90 M4 mag conversation thing was thought of but would be to finiky, same with a G36 mag, the P90 mag fit there perfectly

Actually the idea was to have a what the hell gun, and the box mag was a POS so I wanted something with a reliable feed mech, I'm planning to add either just an EGLM or possibly even a GLM, and of course a heavy duty scope on top.
And I'm keeping the full length barrel, if I can get a second barrel set I'd like to put a massive silencer/tracer unit on it for an "assault rifle" modular system.

And another thing, I hated having to wedge out my arm while firing the thing.

Ah right. The magazine was the bit that really confused me. seemed weird to get rid of a large capacity support magazine, in favor of the small by comparison p90 magazines.
If the box mags are crap, modding it to take something else makes more sense.

You can get 170rd P90 mags, right now she is firing about 18-20rps with a good meaty thump, so 100 rounds should last a good while and still provide a good suppressing capability.
