Magazine Question

Hi all, I was thinking of getting an SRC G36c, and wanted some midcaps for it... However, the only G36 Midcaps I could find are some G&P ones. Does anyone know if they will fit? Or of any other G36 midcap magazines?

currently the src requires src mags! So there are on middies available nor hicaps as no mags are available, sorry

I take it you mean either just hicaps or no hicaps from anyone other than SRC right? Because the gun comes with a hicap...

could you please clarify why? as i was looking at some as a cheaper alternative to the CA ones as i like the translucent bodies

Jfox61 is the best person to ask for a definite answer, but as far as I'm aware the only SRC guns that don't take other makes of mag are their MP5s, as they are built to real steel dimensions.

EDIT: I've had a look at a couple of sites who are selling both the G36 and the MP5 and both only mention the magazine issue in relation to the MP5. So, based on that, I'd imagine that there's no problems.

I looked at a site which mentioned that the (G36) JG magazines fit perfectly in the SRC, so hopefully this means most will fit.

Yes you can get the TM and JG mags as well as the SRC mags and they all fit and work well. I can confirm this definitely as I own both guns and I interchange the mags a lot. In fact the JG mags are actually a better fit than the SRC mags. Rocking is correct about the MP5 Mags. The only mags to fit that gun are their own. The reason is that they are exact real steel dimensions therefore smaller

yes mate they do. G&P fit TM, Classic army, JG and SRC.
