Prometheus barrels...

Will all the various length barrels work in an m4 hop unit, thinking of getting the neo strike chambers for both my m4 variants which I guess would help? Its just that they all specify that they're for specific guns due to the length, but I've been told the 420mm one will only fit m14 hop units. Is this true and is it the same for any of the others? I'm looking to get the 455mm and the 285mm.

This is probably not much help tbh, but I'm having a Prometheus fitted to my 417 and a firefly fitted too. The actual barrel isn't a direct fit to my hop so the technician is going to put a new groove in the barrel so that it does fit. And the prommy is longer than the RIS too but I've got a 6 suppressor on anyway so you can't see it.
Probably not the answer you was looking for but that's 2 pence worth mate :-)
