Deliberately throwing an unprimed grenade.
Tactical or 'just not done'.

Re: Grenades
A valid distraction technique as far as I'm concerned.

Re: Grenades
I do that trick a lot . Throw in a used grenade first , shortly followed by a live one .mwah ha ha ha ha !! Keeps the opponents on edge as they never know if the next one is live or not !!

Re: Grenades
I hear good things about the SWAT VTG. They look pretty awesome if you get the Glow In The Dark one

"Oh, hey! That's really..."
*BOOM*
"... Not cool

That's what I imagine it's like being in a dark room when a Glow in the dark VTG comes in through the doorway.

Re: Grenades
Guys at my local regularly pick up used pyro carcasses, make a song and dance about having a grenade and throwing in an empty tube.
Tactically effective and cost effective.
Makes me chuckle and perfectly acceptable in my mind.

Re: Grenades
Some people get a bit uppity about it. I think of it as outsmarting the unsmart.
I done a smart once. I hated it.
