Roughly how many airsoft guns are sold in the UK every year? Or again approximately how many airsoft sites there are in the UK. I was talking to a non airsoft friend and was asked. It was in relation to how big/widespread the sport has become and I had absolutely no idea.
I'm guessing in terms of airsoft RIFS it must be thousands, but tens of thousands? Hundreds? I have no idea and have become kind of curious now.

Ask your local Airsoft Site what membership number they are up to. That would give you a starting point.

I would say that as a rough response every major city has at least 3-4 within an hours drive and each has around 100-200 players minimum as it's base.

That is based on an average though and some major sites could claim to have the same site near to them. Giving people a number like 10,000 doesn't really give a idea of where those people might be and play as in the likes of the dump I am in at the moment they have one choice and it is terrible but down in Edinburgh and Glasgow you have about 7-8-9 sites and many players etc.
