Heavier BB's actually reduce range slightly...

Heavier the BB, then theres a slight drop in range.

0.25s are normally best in any good aeg will decrease fps but make your trajector flatter and more accurate but with reduced range
there was a graph of the different weights and their affect on distance and fps but not sure who posted it..probably nine

i actually prefer .20 in my CA. it doesnt seem to like o.25s as much. but there is a huge accuracy increase! just range is shortened. by a lot!

              Heavier ammo doesn't reduce range!

Can't believe people still think it does. Try it out. If you hop up has enough umph to give a .25 overhop, it'll throw a .25 farther than it'll throw a .2. Heavier ammo maintains momentum better. It's less effected by wind resistance. If you don't believe me, try it. I've seen .25s go farther than .2s in guns running at 280fps. At 330fps you should certainly be useing .25s if you want range. Even .27s if you've got the money. Not sure if they go as far though, because I've not tried them. Give it a go, spend some time finding the best ammo.
