  • Site FPS limits

    after derping on the forums i got curious about FPS limits at different sites so after getting permision from Rampage here we are.

    the only rule is don't mention any sites in dorset/hampshire except GZ

    so to start:-

    Airsoft Plantaition
    Billiricay
    Woodland & scrubland
    AEG-370
    Bolt action snipers-450
    DMR's-370
    Co2 & gas guns/pistols-350

          Combat Action Games, Norwich, Norfolk
          AEG/GBBR (Full auto) & ALL pistols - 350fps absolute max
          Semi auto AEG/GBBR - 425fps absolute max
          Bolt action - 500fps max.

                350 anything full auto capable
                350 any and all pistols
                450 + 15m MED for DMR - full size rifle, physical lock to semi only
                550 + 30m MED for Sniper rifles - bolt action or anything that was manufactured semi-auto only

                Provided you pass chrono using a 0.2g BB with the hop set to how it will be used in game you can use batteries, green gas, Co2, springs or unicorn farts to propel your ammo.

                  AEG's - 350 fps max 1-3 fps tolerance
                  DMR - 350 fps max 1-3 fps tolerance
                  Sniper (bolt actions only, others classed as DMR) 400 fps 1-3 fps tolerance
                  Pistols - anything within reason
                  No Co2 guns allowed despite fps

                    Quite possibly the largest Indoor/CQB site in the UK at 8.5 acres


                    All FPS is with 0.2g

                    AEG/GBBR/Pistol/Shotgun (or anything with full automatic capability) - 350 FPS
                    DMRs (Electric, mechanically locked to Semi) - 420 FPS w/ 20m MED
                    Bolt Action rifle - 500 FPS w/ 20m MED

                    Any propellant (within reason!) allowed (i.e., HPA, CO2) so long as they pass chrono. Marshall decision final on all weapons

                      Semi-sniper: 400fps
                      Single-sniper: 450fps
                      Pistol: 350fps

                      Gas/co2 allowed.

                        Bolt Action 500FPS

                        Pyrotechnics -

                        No Home made Pyros are to be used on site.
                        Any grenades or smokes bought outside the UK may not be used.
                        Nothing bigger than MK7 can be used.
                        BFG's OK 9mm only

                          DMR=450 (20m med)
                          Bolt action=500 (30m med).
                          Pistols, well as long as its sensible really.
                          Gas and Co2 allowed.

                          Guarder shooting specs and green lasers banned.

                              Semi-Auto DMR & Bolt Action - 400FPS (20M MED - No shooting within buildings - MUST carry a sidearm.)

                              No GBBR or CO2 weapons of any type to be used on either of the sites. No smoke grenades at Urban Assault, only the on-site bangs to be used there too (its set within a residential area, smoke causes calls to the fire brigade, and loud bangs would result in the use of the site being revoked).
