Airsofters & Sites in Warwickshire?
9 February, 2014, 09:56
Hey all,
I've been living in Kenilworth a couple of years now, but haven't managed to do much regular gaming (partly due to work, partly not knowing anyone).
I know of a few local groups / sites:
- F&O: The Acedemy
- Gunman Airsoft: The Grange
- Gunman Airsoft: RAF Honiley
- Stirling Airsoft: Coventry Airport
- Stirling Airsoft: Stoneleigh Park
I'm also pretty restricted on where / how far I can travel (due to owning a ridiculously low & uneconomical car).
Are there any players in the area who I could tag along with? I really need to get back into it regularly!
Also, any thoughts on the above, and other, sites?
Cheers, C

Re: Airsofters & Sites in Warwickshire?
You are on the door step of Stonleigh Agricultural Park.
The British Shooting Show / Airsoft Show is taking place there 14th, 15th and 16th of this month. I fever there was a time to meet fellow airsofters and glean information, I would suggest this is it.

Im hopefully going to the Grange on the 22nd If you wanna go, and unfortunatley I think the academy has been demolished, real shame too, used to be my primary site as I have the same resitrictions as you.
Didnt realise there were 2 Stirling sites nearby either so thanks for naming them

Not in Warwickshire but I'm based in warwick and with less than an hours drive there are all of the other F&O midlands sites... The Embassy, The Asylum, The outpost etc...
Never been to the grange, is it much good?
And also, what type of events do sterling airsoft hold at their two warwickshire sites?

Re: Airsofters & Sites in Warwickshire?
I think I may just be able to make the 22nd mate! :-)
I've never been to The Grange myself yet, so I'll look forward to that! Actually, the only sites I've stuck to are Dragon Valley (RAF Caerwent), The Outpost (Drakelow Tunnels) and The Mall.
As far as the Stirling sites go, I think Stoneleigh Park is mainly / exclusively used for their training events (Battlefield, Counter Terrorist, PSD, Sniper) and Coventry Airport for Counter-Terrorist Aircraft Assault (yep... storming a passenger plane).
I'm definitely going to get some Stirling ones in this year, for sure!!

Right, so Stirling mainly do specialised events as aposed to your normal open days.
Any feedback on what the grange is like? Been tempted to go, as it's quite close, just not too sure whether it'll be much good

Not sure about The Grange, but let's stay on topic n find out.
So, who wants to go airsofting then?

Honiley is amazing - its still our most fave site out there (over The Mall, Drakelow tunnels, Asylum etc)

Airsofters & Sites in Warwickshire?
I've just checked... Honiley is only 13 mins from my place. Anyone planning to go in the next month or so? I don't fancy being a 'billy no mates'...

Re: Airsofters & Sites in Warwickshire?
Your only 30mins from RIFT Coms3 near Banbury.
A great site and one of the nicest bunch of people you will ever meet.
Check out their website.
They will also be at the show.
