I'm a bugger for tinkering with my guns, but I have never been compelled to mod my SCAR, it performs that well out of the box that if I did I would be scared of letting the magic escape.

In my experience, tight bores don't increase range. They raise the pressure in the barrel, therefore increasing FPS by about 15 FPS. It is said that they MAY increase your accuracy, but generally speaking they increase short range accuracy.
Loose fit barrels are always used for longer range tuning over here.
At the end of the day, as a fellow SCAR-H user, I say don't touch it.

As has already been stated...Hop! But as TM are regarded as the best out the box in terms of hop, changing anything could put you on to a looser. As Kodiak already stated, better hop/hop rubber isn't needed
