  • broken m16 rear receiver lugs-Help!!

    Hi guys,
I've got a plastic m16 body with broken rear lugs where the body pin goes through.

Anyone know how I can fix it?

    Thanks
    Battle Plan:
1)Run madly at enemy. (shooting weapons is optional)
    2)Die.
    3)Run to Re-spawn.
4)Return to point 1 and repeat until successful.

could araldite it, but tbh, getting a new one would probably be worth it since you can pick them up for a reasonable price

Well, the best would be replacement,
If thats not an option then Araldite is probably the next best bet.

Agree with guys above, you could try Superglue first but usually is slasher 'the wrong type of plastic'.
But yes, try a two part.
No nails is also good for bonding and can be knifed back when hardened and over sprayed.

You'll probably find simply gluing em back on will not last as there is too little mating surface. You could 'plate' the inside surface of the lugs and the body area just above with some thin plasticard for additional strengthening - make sure you roughen the surfaces 1st.
