  • single point sling installation

    Hi,
    just bought a single point sling for my m4, and was, er, just wondering, how do i put it on?

    do i need any tool or will my hands do?

    Mods please move if in the wrong place, didnt think it deserved technical si its not that difficult!

        Should be a sling point plate near the end of the receiver, if not you're going to have to buy one. (Its a metal/plastic thing that slots onto the start of the receiver stock tube)
        If there's a sling swivel on the stock, hook it to that.

          thanks,
          theres a ring where the stock tube meets the receiver, i know i need to unscrew that, do i need an aremourers wrench or can i just use a normal wrench.

            If you have the plate Deanfirst put a pic of (or one similar) the way to fit it is to remove your stock, remove the end cap of the stock tube (if you have one on) then use a long Philips or pozi screw driver and unscrew the stock tube.
            After you've done that you need to remove your old end plate and replace it with the new one and follow the above steps in reverse to put your stock back on.
