G&G l85 rear body pin/tmh pin

hi guys recently have got a second gen g&g l85 and am having trouble getting it back together after stripping. no matter what i do the rear tmh pin will not line up, can get one side or the other but not both together and is about 1mm off on the opposite side. nothing seems to be pushing it away to cause this and am sure it would go through if i applied a bit of brute force and ignorance but don't want to damage it. any thoughts?
