Re: some advice on an AK
Get a CYMA 2 guys on my team have them and they absolutely love them, they also happen to be within ur price range which is always a bonus!
Edit: But please god just leave it be!!! What has the little AK ever done 2 u?! AKs are best plain and simple not with all that tactical crap on them!

Against my better judgement, I'm going to also recommend a CYMA, but please, don't rape it!

Re: some advice on an AK
You can get an SRC Tactical Klashnikov variant from a "Store of Hobbies" and also from other places. And there is the choice of CYMA, but the outcome can vary between having a competent weapon or a dud.

Re: some advice on an AK
please dont do that to an AK! especially a CYMA one which comes with full metal and wood kit! Go buy a cheap plastic one if you want to do that, then shoot yourself! :p

Re: some advice on an AK
Yes you can do that to an AK. I got the kit to do it to my cyma Ak105 (model 30 I think). However I did find that the kings arm kit (which I think that is) does not fit the front of a 105 very well, so I put the original set up back on. I personally quite like it in a strange way. I like the shape and the contrast to the, also lovely, beat up Ak's or modern black AK's.

Re: some advice on an AK
If your gonna use aftermarket parts youd be better off with a Dboys/Kalash. I own both a CYMA and Kalash and have been able to do all sorts of stuff with the kalash but not the CYMA. Both are pretty much the same performance wise tbh and theres not alot between the two makes. Dboys copy the VFC AKs and Im not sure who CYMA copy- Id make a rough stab at TM?
Anyway Dboys/kalash is what I think you should go for.
