What is this gun (pacific)
7 April, 2010, 00:18
Hi there, I was watching the pacific (as all of you should have been) last night and saw a gun I liked the look of. It's at the part where the vickers jams and the japs are pushin up so one of them grabs a shotgun. It's this shotgun that I'm trying to identify and all help is appreciated. When the shot gun is
pumped the top part (technical I know) moves back away from the gun and over his hand.
Please could someone tell me what it was and if there is an airsoft equivelant.
I know my technical words vocabulay is very poor but I hope you understand what I mean.
Cheers, Oli

Probably could mod a M500 to look pretty similar with some work

Re: What is this gun (pacific)
its a winchester model 1897
not the 1912 as the 1912 was a hammerless pump and as such the action did not slide back over the users hand
AKA the trench gun
there is a TANAKA version, however its very expensive (around $400-500) and its shell ejecting so not that great for skirmishing, and its also apparently quite fragile so more of a collecters piece
so really, there is no skirmishable version of the trench gun unfortunaly...

Turning Thompson into a trench gun? Now that would be a good conversion :p
