VFC scar-l

have seen alot of videos of this gun and it always seems to have a completley insane ROF
Is this standard out of the box performance or has it been upgraded a fair bit?

Re: VFC scar-l
They do have a fairly high rate of fire. I have a video of a 10.8v compared to a 9.6v

Edit:
Mines is completly stock and has a 1J spring in it.
The scar gearbox is a work of art, perhaps the best stock V2 evaaarr
The video you posted is what happens when you upgrade the gearbox. Look for some more of his video's and you can see what he puts into it. Its like a nuclear powerstaion that thing

Re: VFC scar-l
If I'm not mistaken, that 9.6v battery you have in the video is actually an 8.4v

Re: VFC scar-l
I have one and it has a great ROF but nothing out of the ordinary but I'm only using a 9.6V battery.
It is a great robust and very realistics replica- top quality.
You must however tighten every nut, screw and bolt on it when you take it out the box for the fist time. After that it's one of the great airsoft weapons alongside the CA M4 CQB among others.
Drop'm out with a low cap and save the environment.

Indeed it is, I must have picked up the wrong one.
Well spotted

Re: VFC scar-l
One of the reasons I bought the VFC Scar-L, was it's ability to survive high voltage battery's. I figured if it would run on a 12v then It will last forever on a 9.6v I have seen the Scar-H, empty a high-cap running on a 12v 4300mAh external pack at at least 30rps and it didn't even seem to be straining. It's so good I cant decide whether to keep mine and put up with running around with a bad knee or sell it and go back to Sniping. Amazing Gun...
