-How do you charge em, I'm struggling to find a charger for them?

YOU make a lead up to suit the plug. Advantages small and can take alot of current disadvantages YOU cant seem to find a charging lead!!

Question from someone who is most likely going to switch to deans over the holidays:
You just chop off the tamiyas and solder the Deans on right? Nothing else need doing?

correct. make sure you use heatshrink to protect the bare wires though. Also a little tip.
The soldering iron can be prone to actually softening the plastic and the connectors will move out of place.
So what you do is plug a male and female together before using the iron. This has the effect of keeping the connectors in alignment

Very few sell a Deans connector though. Maplins don't even know what one is!! try them.

Bo**ocks, why didn't I think of that. My cheap and useless soldering iron was taking so long to heat the solder that I ruined a few plugs before I gave up and paid an electrician to solder them for me. This would have saved me a few quid

Nice one mate. Did electronics, so I'm fortunate in already having experience with heatshrink and such.
