Cheaters in airsoft

I was just wandering what some of your experiences were with cheaters. Ill start off; yesterday at ambush wargames there were these to kids on the blue team who would not take there hits even though they were definately hit as I saw my bbs hit them in the legs 10 times and one in the face. Unfortunately as it was my first time I didnt want to look like a whining noob so I just left it, however many other people on my team realized they were cheating too which then broke into a big argument and people were all shouting at each other . So the marshal told everyone to be honest and just take your hits but again the 2 kids were on the blue team and they still couldnt take their hits.

I hate people who dont take hits, they cant bear the thought of walking a few hundred meters to a safe zone for 5 minutes!!!

didn't the marshalls keep an eye on them? then if they saw them do it again they could have done something about it.

I don't know if its the time of year or something in the water, but I been hearing this from a few sites I usually go to recently.

Hopefully I'll find out different when I actually get to go next week!

But this is the kind of thing that will kill airsoft off, because people think. "I'm not taking that, because I definitely shot him first"

I haven't run into an issue of cheating for a while now. I guess I am just lucky with where I play.

Oh lord the stories I can tell. Especially a certain old dude who wears MARPAT at our local site. His method of avoiding BBs is to wait until he feels them, then duck back a bit so he stops being hit. It truly defies description, it is a spectacle to behold.

the only way to deal with cheats is to A: tell the mashal to watch them. and B) hunt them down relentlessly aiming for the head.

Unfortunately it's always going to happen. If it's a particualr player (or players) and it happens on more than one occasion, report them to a marshall, simple as.

I have had this occurrence with people not taking their hits, wasted a hundred rounds on a kid until I shouted 'You're not blooming Superman! You're shot, take your damn hits!' - Looked at me as if I was telling porkies, I actually shot him in the head for half a dozen times to realize he's shot...

If you are having trouble with people not taking hits aim for the neck, groin and backs of the knees. Then they will know they have been hit

He also likes to move into a better position when everyone else is standing still when a marshal temporarily stops the game due to a member of the public wandering onto site etc.

What a man.

A Mid-forties man... I have yet to encounter a 'Kid' who is worse.

Where I skirmish it's a 3 strike and yer out rule

Strike 1 = Ur told politley to play the game in the manner it's meant to be: HONESTLY
Strike 2 = Same as above but with more forceful language
Strike 3 = The marshalls help you pack ur kit just before they stick the boot up yer arse as u are getting chucked off site.

To be quite honest with you, a lot of the smaller sites I've been too put up with cheaters just if they are regulars to the site. Makes financial sense I suppose...

I can seeing cheating as one of the things that will stop new players joining the sport. For example a game I went to last, my friend went with me, because of the cheating he was really put off going again as he simply didn't enjoy it. Yes it was reported and action was taken but all it takes is one or two people and it ruins the experience for alot more.

Its also worth bearing in mind those people who don't realise they are shot. I've seen that happen as well, you shoot them in the back but they just don't notice and when you go to them, they honestly accept it and say they didn't realise. Obviously having an upgraded rifle helps avoid this...
