Susat knob?

What does the small dial knob do on the right side of a susat do ?
it turns 1/2 way and back again. nothing happens tho

On a real SUSAT it is the knob that activates the trilux which illuminated the tip of the needle for use in low light conditions and at night. Saying that, its radioactive, so im guessing your replica SUSAT wont contain any, and thus, wont work!

The triangle would have a red glow when the valve is opened in low light.
