Is UCAP still around in portsmouth? This looks similar, except UCAP have some bigger rooms for cover etc.

Yes the UCAP bunker is still very much alive, if you haven't played it, it's well worth a visit, and especially good when there's not too many players..

this reminds me of a place i visited last year, which happened to be for sale! The 'site' is probably about 20-30 acres big, in a square-ish shape. It is surrounded by original RAF barbed wire fencing, due to it being an RAF site, and the site includes the following...

4 acre Fully Functioning nuclear bunker
three storey barracks
three storey radar hanger
a mahussive radar
about a dozen pillboxes
and numerous other small buildings.

this place is truly amazing and would make way for an excellent airsoft site. The main feature would have to be the main nuclear bunker, which sits three stories underground with three levels. there are a few problems mind... the first being its up for sale at 2.5 million Pounds and the other is that there is still an operational RAF Base at the centre of the facility!

This is up there with the Blue Streak missle launch site up in Scotland of places that the morbid side of me wants to have a poke around.

I wonder what force was powerful enough to blow those vault doors off their hinges? The imaginative side of me reckons that was some WW2/Cold War era biological warfare lab al'a the Fallout game series, some FEV mutant that got loose? Then again those corridors would be too small for a hulking beast like that to walk down.
