  • Which suppressor will work/are most effective (G&G UMG)

    Hello everyone

I currently have a G&G UMG (UMP.45) that I got from Zero One a while ago, and I've been looking to get an attachment such as a suppressor/silencer to act as a barrel extension.

I have seen that there is a specialised one for the G&G UMG, however this is quite pricey and is not particularly common. I was wondering if any other attachments would work, and which ones would work more effectively than that one.

The inner barrel length of my AEG is 205mm.

Moreover, I don't have a set budget but it is really below the RRP of the G&G UMG QD suppressor (£45+).

Thanks for any help, it's appreciated

In perfect honesty save up and get the G&G ump one, best silencer i have ever bought.

It really makes a difference to noise on the UMP

Okay thanks for the advice, I read somewhere about that too, does it have an impact on the gun's performance? I'm looking to improve the range and accuracy to suit woodland more

It does not nothing for the gun's performance but does work reasonably well as a silencer.

As above. Don't expect it to increase your range because it isnt designed for it. It does however seriously dampen the sound. G&G UMGs are notoriously loud out of the box, so this makes a massive difference!
