Looking for a USP and need help...
10 April, 2009, 16:27
Hi guys,
When I shift my Glock and 1911, I'm looking to get a decent USP.
I've had an MK23, and held what I would consider the "standard" USP, but the grip and size of the pistol are larger than what I'm looking for.
Can anyone tell me what other (smaller) versions of the USP might interest me? How big is the TM USP Electric?
Exact makes and models of suggestions would be very helpful...
Thanks for looking, and any help given,
Alex (mj23lj)

There is a KJW USP I believe, its a Gas blowback its smaller than the MK23 and looks very nice!
If you like the USP style then I would suggest a Walther P99, they retain the "USP" aesthetic in the respect of shape and size, There is also an airsoft version which I'm trying to search for right now!

Thanks for your input guys, but I know who makes USP's. I need to know who makes the smaller USP's and the exact models of them...

So does this compact version have a smaller grip? I want something in similar size to a 1911 grip.

Thanks for the input...
I think I'm going to go for a KSC USP Series 7 Compact (with metal slide). I haven't seen any full metal ones, what USP Compact do you have?
Thanks,
Alex

PM you have.
I think you'll struggle to get a USP of any type with a grip dimension similar to a M1911A1. This is because the 1911 had a 7 rnd single stack mag but ALL USP's have double stack mags and hence the difference in grip dimensions. I would however go for the KSC USP every time, preferable with the metal slide

The USP Compact is the smallest USP (hence the name) but as LJ said, you're going to struggle to find anything with the grip thickness of the 1911
