headset help

Hey guys,

im after abit of info and help really ,

right to clear it up firstly , im using cobra single pin radios, they are the same as motorola talkabout T522 series ,

so , im after a new headset

there are two im debating at ,

one is the Comtac with ptt and boom mic
one is the bowman with ptt,

ive used the bowman when served so im used to them , but been looking around and cant decide which one is better , so for those peopl that have used both or own both , can you give me some input on why you like / dislike them .


this is just for tolling up info , as there are many bowman reps around in the uk , and there is a comtac rep also , and pm'd a few people about both , any help will be very much appreciated

Comtac are very good but you do get a bit hot wearing them, never tried bowman ones but the swimmer style are also very good.
I keep my comtacs for the winter

yeah as they are based on the peltor ear defense with the wires etc installed,
so the ears would get hot if running around all the time,

i have a throat mic at the min , but after one of them til can afford peltor comtac them selves

I think i would take a bowman, as i wore some Comtacs before, and your ears are so hot.
Very annnoying.
