Hi guys,

I've seen a lot of BB threads go up, and to no surprise, a new one was just locked. So I thought it would be a good idea to create a list of general and specialized BB's.

I'm going to start this off (sniper orientated, sorry), but the idea is for everyone to read through and add to it if they can think of some that aren't posted already. Also, I’m going to be leaving out anything below .20’s, as most of them (.12’s) are very bad quality.

(the following is based on opinion, and is simply to give a few suggestions to people not "in the know")

To me, there were 2 main (repeated) questions this thread was to apply to:

1) "What BB's (in general) are the best?"

2) "Which BB's should I use in my sniper rifle?"

1) Generally, I'd say, if you are using a pistol or lower powered rifle with .20's, then any seamless & polished BB's will do fine.
Of course there are better brands/models, so here are 5 I've chosen to recommend:
- Tokyo Marui
- KSC (Perfect)
- G&G
- Digicon
- TSD

For any rifle over 300fps, I'd say you should be using .25's (accuracy over power for me every time). At this weight and power, quality of the BB really does start to make a difference, and can very well mean the difference between a hit and a miss.
So again, here are 5 that I have chosen to recommend:
- G&G (PSBB)
- Bioval (BBB)
- Matrix (High Grade)
- TSD
- Excel (I believe these are some of the more popular in the UK)


2) Now, this all depends on the power of your sniper rifle, and also the conditions in which you are shooting. Personally, I think you should be using at MINIMUM .25's , and that's if you are using something that's around the 300fps margin. I use .28's & .30's in my 330fps TK Twist Barrel VSR. If wind picks up, then you should be using heavier ammo e.g. .28g for no wind, and .36g for wind.
On personal opinion (varying in weight), here 7 that I have chosen to recommend:
- TSD .28g
- Tokyo Marui (Superior Grade) .30g
- KSC (Perfect) .30g
- Maruzen (SGM) .29g
- Digicon (Straights) .30g - .43g
- Bioval (Max) .27g
- Madbull (Ultimate Heavy) .43g - I recommend these purely for their weight, I have not used them as of yet due to not great reports streaming from the US.
