Open top AK mag pouches

After having a good look about I have come up with nothing. I am looking for a open top AK mag pouch capable of holding 2 mags. I have seen loads and loads of M4 ones but never an AK one. I only seem to come across ones with flaps either held with velcro or a buckle of some kind. I would be looking for 3 so I can carry 6 mags

I have seen a couple that you can get custom made (Like the one below) but they are rather expensive getting them shipped to the UK



Any help would be appreciated

How about the HSGI X2R taco? Little bit pricey but will easily hold 2 AK mags or M4 mags. Gives a lot of versatility when using multiple weapon systems. Retention is good as it the build quality.

Ah, I didnt know you could fit AK mags in them as well. Look at me learning lol. I will have a look into them, at first glance....yes, rather pricey as you said

warrior make a copy, available in a couple of different colours. quite a bit cheaper than the HSGI ones.

I've found that the blue force gear sr25 pouches work really well with ak mags. Used them for about 6 months and never had one come lose

Warrior also make single open top AK specific mags with bungee retention but they only take 1 mag each. You can however attach them to each other as they're MOLLE.

Pantac EV Universal mag pouches fit AK, G36, AUG and M4 mags.

For those wondering, I decided on the WAS AK/7.62 open topped mag pouches. Currently got 2 sets of triple mag pouches stacked and it looks like I might have enough for a 2 single mag pouches stacked as well
