    M249 Range!

    hi
    iv got a A&K M249 MK2, the accuracy is good, but the range is crap!
    can anyone pleeeeaaassseee help me?!
    i was thinking of buying a hole new classic army m249 hop up, would that increase the range?

    What fps is it running at? What sort of range are you getting? What BB weight and brand are you using

    FPS, barrel length, BB weight and hop are all factors affecting range.

    I and other friends have A&K M249s and range is excellent on stock Hop units.
    Drop'm out with a low cap and save the environment.

      You might need to replace the hop rubber as I've heard that they can be appaling on some of their 249's, that should fix your problem.

            Get a TM hop rubber and construct a new bucking (nub) our of a biro or whatever. And then post in the right section.
