Real steel Scar vs Airsoft replicas
25 May, 2010, 16:32
Maybe a silly question but I cant foind any info about.
Was wondering this: is the real steel Scar (L/H) entirely metal including lower receiver? I was pretty much convinved it was but with the advent of polymer technology in modern weapons I just wasn't sure.
Its a shame there isnt any aftermarket lower receivers available for the Scar variants. My VFC is nice but would be nicer with a proper lower metal receiver like the high quality M4s.
Just a thought!

IIRC they are polymer on the RS ones too.

He's correct re lower receiver, as an alternative to an m4 try the we pdw all alloy, just an idea for you.

Re: Real steel Scar vs Airsoft replicas
Polymer is actually beneficial over "metal" in many applications...

Re: Real steel Scar vs Airsoft replicas
As per Abbadon
Lower is a high density Polymer.
