Re: What do you look For in a Airsoft Shop ?
Yeah i unsderstand what you mean there buddy,
Small Main Spare parts, is a Deffo, that is one of the main focus's a company should have, just think, a spare part would cost $6 + $6 to be shipped then the wait,
but if a company says yes we have that part, we can get it to you at a similar price in 2-3 days youd surely go there ?
as for the postage, companies charge high P&P to help there profit, but profit isnt always the main focus, yes you need profit to buy your next order, and upscale in terms of a new company, but P&P not to extreme,
i agree that i dont want to pay postage that is nearly the same cost as the item,
so how about adding a flat rate P&P ?
would that work ?
for instance,
Bob buys one bag of .2 bb's postage is a fair £2.50?
dan buys 2 bags of .2's postage is £5
Andy buys 10 bags of bb's and the postage is £10
andy pays £5 postage and the company says, well seeing as your buying £100's worth of bb's we will pay the next £5 ?
do you think shops should implement that ?

Re: What do you look For in a Airsoft Shop ?
Postage is the things that annoys me the most.... something small/ leigh still cost me £7 postage.... and isnt even next day!
Also how about the more I order, the cheaper shipping becomes, not £7 per item... had this at a few places...
Also, Clearly show shipping before, its annoying to buy a lot of stuff, have to go through signing up bits, then say £15 postage... bah
FOR SALE

Re: What do you look For in a Airsoft Shop ?
Why is it in this country that the more you buy, the more postage you pay? In continental Europe, that's seen as crazy and people just won't buy from shops like this.
OK, as the weight goes up, so does the cost of postage, but surely you want people to spend more money. A single flat rate for postage of items with a certain weight band, regardless of how many items there are and how much they cost.

Re: What do you look For in a Airsoft Shop ?
Thinking about it.
A shop! You may be internet based, but what's wrong with people being able to visit the owner and looking at the guns before deciding what they want to buy. It doesn't have to be an actual retail shop, but the ability to meet face to face would increase sales considerably.
I'd have bought a shed load more guns if the shop in Portsmouth ever kept a decent stock level. I'd have bought even more if zero one actually realised that as a retailer they can't afford to be closed on a Saturday.

a shop that doesnt stock 9000 different m4's but chooses a range of different guns is nice.

Re: What do you look For in a Airsoft Shop ?
A bricks & mortar presence. I dont buy from shops that are internet based only.
To be honest, ive only bought about 10 things from a shop over than my current retailer in the years ive been playing. I must have put somewhere between six and seven thousand pounds through their till.
And ive no intention of doing anything else. Theyre perfect for me. Great guys who treat me as an individual, give me any and all of the information i need, make me feel welcome, go out of their way to make sure i get what i want, and support me after ive made the purchase. In addition to being on my doorstep, and very fairly priced; i cant find a better shop.

Re: What do you look For in a Airsoft Shop ?
to stock LOTS of items that are NEEDED and only order in things that people want such as desent guns and kit that are popular and paractical not a random load of kit peices and guns that people dont buy or even look at and so that the shop doesnt spend there money on unessisary products.

Yeah, stocking small parts would be good, rather than having to pay $30 delivery on a $5 part from HK
