Best Distance AEG Not A DMR Or Sniper?

Hi Ho!

As the title says, Im after a decent AEG That has great distance not being a DMR or sniper, I was looking at a Krytac SPR or something similar, is there anything better or any alternatives,

I am wanting to stay on a M4 Platform.

Any help will be greatly appreciated !

For out of the box range, you really can't beat a Tokyo Marui. The pickle with those though is the hefty price tag, but you get out what you put in!

Third agreed, popular misconception is FPS and barrel length, its actually the hop unit were all the magic happens and TM produce some of the best out of the box un modded and the usually shoot about 290 fps

Yep I fourth these guy's comments about tm, im on a aug platform as m4s bore me but the tm m4 base is sound. I'd say you want a metal m4 instead of plastic look at a dytac m4 for same price as marui if not a bit more expensive. Full metal beautiful range and really impressed me and as stated that's hard as I hate the soulless things lol

Guys how to you increase the range of your aeg anyway if ur near the fps limit?

It's all down to the hop really, as Shamus said

Switching to heavier BBs from 0.2s might also help. In tests we did, the 0.2s did go a bit further, but there was also a bigger spread, so although you could chuck a 0.2 further, you were also more likely to miss

Depends if it's a new gun let the spring bed in, after chroning and passing adjust the hop up it will bring down the fps but ul need this to be set to shoot straight anyway.

Airsofters turn very volatile when you mention hop adjustment at chrono but that said it's not cheating it guns need setting up and it's not like your using the heavier weight rounds as people think.

So adjust hop for the range..
Do not!!!!! Use a heavier round in chrono as ul get eaten alive and sent home

Try and find a tm hop unit.. unparalleled range if you can find one that's compatible
