Do brands matter? Yes, they definitely do. Compare a TM recoil shock SOPMOD M4 to something like a JG one or Cyma or something and then you'll immediately know the difference Build quality counts quite a lot, as well as internals.

This thread might be a better fit in the 'pictures of your guns' section I'm not totally sure what it is you want us to do; do you want us to pick our 3 favourite guns, of different classifications (e.g.: shotgun, pistol, submachine gun, etc etc) and post pictures?

I'm in work right now so I can't post any of my pictures (edit: nevermind, see below ), but if I were able to I'd post my TM AA-12, my 24ct gold metal Desert Eagle (even though everyone's already seen it a million times by now) and my TM HK417.

And why these 3 you might ask. Simply put, they suit my purposes perfectly. I don't skirmish with my 24ct Desert Eagle; I have another metal black one I use instead, but the reasons why are fairly straight forward. Whilst the Desert Eagle is only good for having fun or shooting targets in real life, in airsoft it's a different story. It holds a big amount of gas and a surprising amount of BB's. It's also very accurate, fairly intimidating and great fun.

The AA-12, well there's no rival for it in CQB games I don't think. Tri-shot automatic electric with a 3000 round drum mag, with a surprising amount of range and 3 adjustable hop-ups (one for each barrel). It's brilliant

And lastly, the 417. As it stands for me right now, my TM PSG-1 out ranges it but the 417 is just so much more fun, and it's all metal bar the usual stock, grip and magazine. Also has the recoil shock effect in it, and it's a big gun (I'm quite partial to big, scary guns). Range is really good even standard out of the box, but if I had to choose between my ridiculously long range 500 FPS PSG-1 and the 417, I'd take the 417.

That sir is a beautiful Desert Eagle... I didn't realise they made it gold? Or a gold kit?

My money no object RIF is intact one I own, I have bought and sold 25+ RIFs in the last year and a half and 23 of them have made me profit (buying used for a bargain, selling for standard used price) the other 2 were personal RIFs I bought to skirmish with new.

Here is my custom build beauty,polarstar fusion engine with a R-hopped 6.03 polished inner barrel.
All in all with the externals, the engine and the setup (tank/regulator/line) this cost me upwards of £1300.

Thanks Robert Nah they don't make gold kits, I'm not even sure that they make the metal kit at all anymore. These days it sits in its box as a show piece that rarely gets shown.

Probably had it professionally gold plated and yes it looks amazing.

It was plated afterwards It's got mostly TM internals, the rest I upgraded as much as I could. Inner barrel, high flow valves for the magazines, a polycarbonate Guarder loading nozzle (TM one is too fragile), a 150% hammer spring and a 150% return spring (though I don't actually use it). Used to have some of those night sights for it too but they were a bit shite, so I stuck the normal ones back on.

As I said though, it's just a show piece and not much else. I'd never skirmish it 'cause I'd be too afraid of getting it scratched. 24ct gold is very malleable, though this particular gold was hardened to 22ct if I remember correctly. I could have chosen a duller gold which wouldn't scratch as easy as the 24, but it just didn't have the look I wanted.

Well I was going to originally put this in the 'show your guns' section. However, what I was asking was what in your opinion is the best money can buy...so by the nature of the question some people may not own the guns that they post. Does that make sense?

So a amazing pieces you guys have tho. That plated Eagle tho... 😮
