Marui hk417 compatible with VFC hk417?

hi every one! just got myself a tm 417 here but was hoping to get a kit/custom to make it cqb.. saw somewhere that someone said the barrel/ris/upper receiver from the VFC gas hk417 fits the tm version? is this true? has anyone have any inkling or ideas if this works??

just the rail? that should be on as the outer barrel is in 2 parts in the 417.. suppose they might fit in the rails from vfc i hope!
