Best sniper scope
21 November, 2016, 08:05
After some advice.
I'm looking at getting a decent scope for a vsr that I'm looking at buying. What scopes are people using and what do you recommend.

Re: Best sniper scope
If you want a proper scope then hawke make good cheap scopes, if you can stretch a little more then vortex crossfire are great plus they have a lifetime warranty no questions asked so if you smash it you get another.

Re: Best sniper scope
Visionking scopes are probably the best bang for the buck (sub-£100), and seem to be pretty popular. Available direct on certain auction sites that don't exist within these forums.

Arguable indeed, but something from S&B or Leupold should be a winner

Re: Best sniper scope
Well, title says 'best' and no budget given, so I see what Tiercel did

Re: Best sniper scope
I think that scope will be out of budget for most people using an airsoft gun!

Lovely looking optic, however as it's a US company you could run into problems due to ITAR and find that they won't ship outside of the US
So here's a UK company and a cracking piece of kit

In all seriousness there is no best scope for Airsoft, it's just what you want to spend. A £30 optic will preform just as well as a £5000 optic in airsoft terms.

Re: Best sniper scope
I've got a tasco 2-6 x 32, off my air rifle, and a kassnar 3-9x 40 wide angle, and a bushnell 2-6x28 for my dmr. They are all cheap n cheerful
- - - Updated - - -
Actually saying that in their day the tasco and kassnar were of a respectable quality

I also love how the "no other retailers" rule gets overlooked for ridiculously priced scopes <3 xD

The no other retailers refers to direct competitors of Zero one, the retailer mentioned is reel steel and those ridiculously priced scopes are the difference at making a shot at 1000yds or not

Eyeballs. You can usually see a lot farther than a bb can travel. Tried loads of scopes and found the irons do the best job

Re: Best sniper scope
Scopes are different for everyone because everyone's eyes are different.
You might want to actually look down a few "try before you buy" if you have anywhere local where you can go I'd do that.
I have a pretty cheap scope but it does the job for me - it also has a weaver rail built into the scope so I can sit a red dot sight on top of it (which is very useful).
