Rubberised Grips For AEG?
9 June, 2010, 00:47
Wondered if anybody had tried to use something like the Hogue rubber pistol grips on a AEG?
Basically I want to put a tan rubber grip on my G36c, so I was wondering if a Hogue style grip would do the trick like such:
For those who don't know. These are rubber sleeves which slide on over the pistol grip

Nope not thought of that.
Just as general point, I'm adding it to my G36c as per below. Krylon is going to wear from the grip pretty damn quick, hence looking for *something* to avoid losing the colour there.

Re: Rubberised Grips For AEG?
There is a spray on the market called plastidip. I have it in the post headed my way now and will report how is works as soon as I have tried it out. Costs about the same as krylon, comes in a few colours. Worth a try, and its easy to re-apply if you would like to rubberise something, I'd say.

You can buy rubberised spray paint on the bay of E. One of my team mates used it on his H and K something or other, the one that looks like an MP5 with grown up mags...lol
