What methods of payment are best suited for classified ads? I know Paypal comes to mind straight away, but i have had real issues with them when using ebay (I owed them -0.01 for months until they sorted it) so i would like to know of the alternatives if i ever decide to buy on this forum.

Paypal
cash on collection
cheque
bank transfer
magic beans

lol, would be nice to think you joined these forums to contribute to the community rather than just buying stuff as stated in your first post... but i'm sure you will

Oh i won't be just scrounging off hasty sellers. It's just good to know my options for later on (I rarely purchase airsoft kit)

i only ever do cash on collection or the buying sends cash recorded in the post as ive been scammed one to many times

Of course, you can have as many payment methods as you like but if the seller is only willing to accept Paypal (due to the protection given) you could be stuffed

True but i still belive cash on collection is the best method you buy it as you see it.

I always prefer face to face, especially with RIFs, but it's not always possible
